Meet Andrew Grech

(born Melbourne 1963)

From a young age, Andrew Grech was drawn to explore his natural artistic talent particularly with colours and textures. Grech’s formative years were spent with mentor and master painter/designer, George Szloboda. It was Szloboda’s skills that helped lay a solid professional foundation and crystallize Grech’s creative passion, particularly for Australian landscape.

Grech grew up in his home town of Melbourne. His creative career began in advertising and several years later he was headhunted to join a well known textile company. Here his contemporary style combined with a vast knowledge of techniques quickly began to establish a natural appeal amongst buyers.

Andrew Grech stands for Australian contemporary art at its most accessible. Over the past decade Andrew Grech has established relationships with the most renowned architects and interior designers in Australia and internationally.

His versatile gift for Australian landscape, shape, form, and colour combined with interpretive skills have transformed mere spaces into environments of major appeal across the office and corporate arena as well as for private collectors. His works exude a character which is distinctly Australian with a growing recognition and deepening reputation of distinction in this country and overseas.

His contemporary paintings of Australian landscapes hang in five star hotels including Crown Casino, Sheraton Towers, Quay West, Aspinall Casino, Rialto Towers, the Hilton Hotel and the Intercontinental, to name a few.
