Before fully dedicating himself to visual art, Kay spent years immersed in music and DJ culture. That rhythm continues to shape his work, which draws from nightlife, travel, dance floors, colour and the emotional pull of sound. His pieces are designed not only to be viewed, but to alter the feeling of a room.
In 2026, Kay presented RESINATE, a solo exhibition in Sydney, Australia, coinciding with Vivid Sydney. The exhibition marked a major evolution in his practice, bringing together illuminated resin works, sculptural forms and sensory light-based pieces that shifted in response to their environment.
His current direction expands through AOK, Art of Kay, a fusion of resin, light, installation and performance design. Through circular illuminated works, sculptural objects and immersive concepts, Kay continues to push resin beyond the wall and into a more experiential world.
