Jeremy Kay’s Green Room is cast as a single field of translucent green, without banding or pattern, so the colour reads as one uninterrupted surface. Emerald deepens at the rim and lifts to bright lime toward the centre — a tonal shift produced entirely by the depth of the resin and the light held behind it.
The domed beads scatter that light into a fine, even grain across the whole disc. The effect is less a pattern than a glow with texture inside it, closer to looking into coloured glass than at a painted surface.
Named for the room musicians wait in before a set, Green Room carries the charge of anticipation that Kay draws from his years in nightlife and DJ culture. It is a saturated, confident work that holds its own as the single focal point of an interior.
