A cast glass wave study by Irish sculptor Alva Gallagher. One face is left raw and fractured, the other rises into a smooth undulating crest, so the piece holds both the ferocity and the stillness of the sea in a single form. Aqua and opalescent white run through the body of the glass, shifting with the light and the viewing angle.
